Put Up or Shut Up (PUOSU) is an online art gallery assembled by a private collector with a passion for art across all mediums. The collection began in the early 2000’s and has slowly evolved into a contemporary view of the world at its most vulnerable and emotionally raw (albeit through an often humorous lens), ranging from mid-20th century to current day.
As the richly layered collection has grown themes have begun to emerge and continue to feed PUOSU’s exploration, resulting in portrayals of intimacy, community and solitude, joy and strength, pleasure and pain, loss and solace. In other words, life.
PUOSU supports both established artists and those newer to the scene.
