Grafter

Grafter was born and is based in London. Grafter rose to fame with his now iconic Eskimo Child piece painted for the Banksy Cans Festival in Waterloo London 2008. Numerous shows later, his work is instantly recognisable and always evokes a feeling when you see it. Grafter says of his work “The very best things in life take time and perseverance… otherwise they would just look shabby and cheap”. This is the ethos of London born graffiti artist Grafter. The intricate detail apparent in his stencil work and the relentless effort he puts into maintaining his street presence gives added meaning to his adopted non de plume. “If I can capture in a snapshot, something that lets the passer-by forget about having to pay the gas bill for a few moments of their day and remember the sheer exhilaration of jumping in a puddle, simply because it`s there, then I consider my work here done”.
